Caridad (Cary) Peguero graduated from Montclair State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics and minor in Speech Pathology and Psychology. She received her Master’s of Science degree in Speech Pathology from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. She holds a Speech and Language Specialist (SLS) certificate from the New Jersey Department of Education to work in public schools. Caridad has assessed and treated clients with various communication disorders in clinical and school settings. Her experience includes but is not limited to Expressive and Receptive language disorders, speech sound disorders, autism spectrum disorders, fluency, and childhood apraxia of speech. She also has experience working in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting addressing aphasia, dementia, cognitive-communication disorders, and dysphagia. Cary is bilingual with the ability to translate (Spanish).
In her free time, Cary enjoys spending time with her dogs and loves to hike in scenic places.
