Apoorva Abbi,
M.S. OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Apoorva is a compassionate and detail-oriented Occupational Therapist who  earned her Bachelor’s in Health Sciences and her Master’s in Occupational  Therapy from Quinnipiac University. While at Quinnipiac, she minored in  psychology, was a member of the University Honors Program, and studied  abroad — experiences that deepened her appreciation for supporting  emotional well-being and approaching her sessions with curiosity and  openness.

Licensed in New Jersey, where she grew up, Apoorva maintains certification  as a school-based Occupational Therapist through the New Jersey  Department of Education and actively works with students from  kindergarten through high school in a variety of public and charter school  settings.

She values authenticity, creativity, and perseverance, striving to bring these  qualities into her sessions by meeting each child at their level, incorporating  their unique interests, and using a strengths-based approach to foster  confidence and independence. What she treasures most is witnessing the  pride and joy on a child’s face when they accomplish something that they  once found challenging. She is grateful for the opportunity to support families as they celebrate each step of their child’s growth.

Outside of work, Apoorva enjoys spending time with her family and friends,  exploring new places, and engaging in creative pursuits such as photography.
