Alyssa Volpe,
M.S. OTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Alyssa is a licensed Occupational Therapist with a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy and a minor in psychology with a pediatric specialization. Alyssa graduated from Misericordia University in Dallas, PA. She first found her love for the world of therapy when her younger brother was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and witnessed the ways that specialized therapy could positively affect him as well as her entire family. Alyssa strives to provide the same impact to her clients and their families by working collaboratively to curate functional goal-centered treatment plans.
Alyssa currently works in the hospital setting treating individuals across the lifespan facing varying diagnoses. This experience has allowed her to gain insight into the ways developmental and medical diagnoses can affect an individuals ability to participate in activities of daily living (ADLs). She is passionate about addressing these deficits and helping others maximize their quality of life through skilled & evidence-based interventions.
In her free time, Alyssa enjoys traveling to new places, hiking in hopes of catching a beautiful view, hanging out at coffee shops with a matcha and her kindle, and most importantly spending time with her closest friends, family, and dog.
