Speech Therapist

Cassidy received her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from William Paterson University. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Linguistics from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. She is currently in her Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and holds a temporary license to practice in New Jersey. Upon completion of her CFY, she will hold a permanent license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New Jersey and hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). 

With a strong foundation from externships in both an elementary school and a Cerebral Palsy (CP) center, Cassidy brings a diverse range of experiences in providing speech and language therapy to children with varying needs. In the elementary school setting, she worked closely with students to improve communication skills, develop social language, and support literacy. At the CP center, Cassidy gained valuable experience working with children with complex communication needs, focusing on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies, motor speech disorders, and feeding therapy. Cassidy is passionate about helping children find their voice and is committed to continuing her professional development. Cassidy aims to empower every child she works with, ensuring that each one has the tools and confidence to communicate effectively.

Cassidy currently resides in Passaic County, where she lives with her husband. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, hanging out with her friends and family, and spending time with her 8 nieces and nephews.
