Dawn Gilligan
M.S., OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Dawn is a licensed occupational therapist with more than 25 years of experience
working with children and young adults in outpatient, school, and home-based settings.
A graduate with honors from Quinnipiac University, Dawn has been recognized multiple
times by New Jersey Family magazine as one of “NJ’s Favorite Kids’ Docs.”

Throughout her career, Dawn has supported children with autism spectrum disorder,
developmental delays, and a wide range of sensory, motor, feeding, and functional
challenges. Her extensive clinical experience includes sensory integration, primitive
reflex integration, feeding therapy, fine motor development, handwriting, and activities of
daily living.

Dawn believes therapy should be individualized, engaging, and centered on each child’s
unique strengths and interests. She values close collaboration with families, teachers,
and other professionals to help children develop essential skills, build confidence, and
achieve greater independence.

Outside of work, Dawn enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on her three
sons at their college baseball games. She also loves being on the water, whether
visiting the shore or relaxing at the lake.
