Enrico “Gabe” Cruz is a graduate from William Paterson University with a Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology. He holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice speech-language pathology in the state of New Jersey. Additionally, he holds a Speech Language Specialist certificate from the New Jersey Department of Education, and currently works with The Stepping Stones Group in the Newark Public School District. Gabe has had the privilege of working with school-aged children K-8 and young adults, both in school settings and in outpatient clinical environments. He has experience in the areas of expressive and receptive language disorders, articulation and phonology, fluency disorders, autism spectrum disorders, social communication, and gender affirming voice therapy.

During his undergraduate and graduate studies, Gabe had the opportunity to explore various fields within speech-language pathology, psychology, and music. He has gained valuable research experience in the areas of cognitive sciences, effects of music on attention & reading comprehension, health / wellness / mindfulness within students, voice intonation variation, and transgender voice. These experiences have had a major influence on his outlook on the field and have bolstered his dedication towards individuals and their goals.

Gabe resides in Bergen County and in his spare time enjoys practicing digital art/graphic design, singing, watching movies, gaming, and spending time with his girlfriend, friends, and family.
