Kate received her Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences from William Paterson University and is a licensed speech-language pathologist in the state of New Jersey who is board certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Additionally, Kate holds her Masters of Special Education with a concentration in Assistive Technology from Bowling Green State University.
Her professional experience includes working with children ages one- adulthood focusing on articulation, cognition, receptive/expressive language, fluency, AAC, and pragmatics. Kate is currently employed at the Kinnelon School District where she has worked with children from K – 5th grade for the past 11 years. She also has experience in private practices as well as home-based setting. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her 1 year old daughter, cooking, and traveling.
