Lauren Hoey,

Lauren is a graduate from Molloy College with a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She treats individuals of all ages, from toddlers to adults. Lauren has had the pleasure of working with individuals in the following areas: expressive and receptive language disorders, swallowing disorders, articulation and phonology, fluency disorders, congenital and acquired cognitive disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and aphasia. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice speech-language pathology in the state of New Jersey. In addition, Lauren holds a Speech Language Specialist certificate from the New Jersey Department of Education.

Her professional experience includes working in a public school, hospital, skilled nursing facility, and private practice. Lauren currently works in Wanaque School District where she has worked with children from PreK 3-8th grade. She prides herself on the connection she makes with her students/clients and the strong rapport built with them and their families. Lauren enjoys finding new ways to keep her clients engaged and watch them grow.

Lauren resides in Bergenfield with her husband, her son Adam, baby girl Emma, and their dog Opie. When she isn’t working, you can find her at a concert or playing outside with her family.
