Speech Therapist

Madeline (Maddy) is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a Master of Arts degree in Communication Science and Disorders from Montclair State University. Maddy grew up in Bergen County, NJ and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for her undergraduate studies. Maddy worked under Marge Blanc at the Communication Development Center in Madison, WI where she became trained in Natural Language Acquisition and the Gestalt Language Processing framework. For her clinician fellowship, Maddy treated adults (18-70) with acquired brain injuries and developmental disabilities at an adult day program. 

Now, Maddy works full-time in Weehawken Township Public Schools evaluating and treating students in kindergarten through 6th grade. She also provides home-based therapy services to Early Intervention and children aged 4-12 targeting receptive, expressive, pragmatic language among other speech production goals. Maddy is PROMPT (level 1) trained. Maddy is a published author in the Journal of Speech, Language, and Hearing Research, and the Journal of Fluency. She has presented at the ASHA convention in 2022 and 2023, as well as a recipient of the Aprazia Kids Kristen Johnson Scholarship and the Sophomore Research Fellowship at UW-Madison. 

Maddy is an empathetic, intuitive and dynamic clinician who strives to best support the client and his/her family to provide maximal outcomes.
