Speech Therapist

Shayna Is a licensed speech-language pathologist who received her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Lehman College. Shayna also holds her American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), as well as her NJ Department of Education Speech Language Specialist certification and Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities certification (TSSLD).

Shayna has experience working with individuals with a variety of speech and communication needs including receptive/expressive language, articulation, phonological disorders, fluency, apraxia, pragmatic language, and AAC needs. She has gained clinical experience working with both pediatric and adult populations across various settings including university clinics, public schools, early intervention centers, after-school social pragmatic groups and an outpatient hospital.

Shayna is passionate about working with the pediatric population and their families to provide speech services that are impactful, engaging, fun and relevant to achieving their goals. Currently, Shayna works in a public school in New Jersey with students K-9. When Shayna is not working, she loves spending time with her friends and family, reading and hiking!
